I love how a good track workout always puts me in a tired, but good mood.
I was a little iffy about how today’s workout would go…mostly due to to missing my afternoon nap today. I’m beginning to wonder how I will ever make it through entire workday come the Fall without my afternoon nap!
The workout was 2 x 400, 2 or 3 x mile, 2 x 400. There was a last minute change of plans for Ericka and I with this workout. I had run a little over 5 miles Tuesday morning, plus 3 marathon pace miles with Brendan Tuesday night: 8:03(with a pause due to traffic), 7:34, 7:29, and a mile run home, so my legs were not feeling too fresh for today’s workout. Oh, and I did a short wake-up run this morning at 5:30. Anyway, Ericka had also run a pretty decent longer run on Tuesday evening. We opted for 2 x 400, 600, 800, 1000, 800, 600, 400, plus the warm-up and cool-down. My legs felt pretty heavy, but I got through it. Well I should say, WE got through it. Ericka helped pull me through!
In other good news….these lovely Bondi Bands came in the mail today. I am an Ambassador for Bondi Bond, and I really enjoy their product, but I actually WON these! I was happy to see my friend Blair sporting a Bondi Bands at tonight’s workout. He makes me really want to order the color we have dubbed, “Safety Orange” next.
Post workout, I recovered with these:
Brendan never likes it when I try to buy the whole bag of cherries. One, it costs around $3490458 for a bag. Two, he thinks they will go bad before I eat all of them. I’ve entered myself into the cherry challenge. I WILL finish this whole bag. I started with eleven tonight.
Speaking of cherries, don’t forget to enter to win some Cheribundi! It’s like drinking a cherry. So good!
The Giveaway:

I never heard of using epsom salts, how much should you put in the bath?
