I was recently given the opportunity to try Zipfizz.
According to Zipfizz, it is “an all-natural, great tasting energy drink-mix powder
that delivers a powerful charge of micronutrients to the body’s fuel
system.”
Zipfizz contains only 10 calories, no sugar, and 2 net carbs. It
contains 25 nutrients that give an energy boost usually in about 15 minutes.
Zipfizz is powder that comes in a tube. There are five great tasting flavors: Berry, Citrus, Grape, Orange Soda, and Pink Lemonade. I thought I would like the grape flavor the best because I always like grape. It was good, but I was surprised to find the orange soda and berry were my favorites. The orange soda tasted exactly like orange soda only without the sugar.
How does zipfizz compare with other sports/energy drinks?
I tested Zipfizz out this past week. I first tried it before going for a 13 mile bike ride. I found Zipfizz to be a tasty drink that kept me feeling energized throughout the really intense heat on the bike ride. I also tried it before doing a speed workout, which was 3 tempo-paced miles. I drank quite a bit of zipfizz before my speed workout and it sat a little heavy. I usually don’t eat or drink much before my hard workout, so this could be why I had that feeling. During my other running workouts, I found I enjoyed drinking it to rehydrate and to give me a little boost.
Overall, I liked Zipfizz. It comes in a convenient tube, easy to carry anywhere, and is also affordably priced. One tube makes 16-20 ounces, which is comparably priced to a 20 ounce bottle of Gatorade. I also liked that it is an energy drink that is not loaded with calories and sugar and still tastes good. In fact, Zipfizz contains 25 nutritional ingredients:
9 VITAMINS: vitamins C, E, all the Bs, and folate
8 MINERALS: potassium, magnesium, calcium, zinc, selenium, manganese, chromium, sodium
ELECTROLYTES: magnesium, potassium
AMINO ACIDS: arginine, taurine
ANTIOXIDANTS: green tea extract, vitamins C and E
Grape seed extract, Ginger, Green tea and Ginseng

here’s strong evidence that grape seed extract is beneficial for a number of cardiovascular conditions. Grape seed extract may help with a type of poor circulation (chronic venous insufficiency) and high cholesterol. Grape seed extract also reduces swelling caused by injury and helps with eye disease related to diabetes.`
